Default Wire keepers designed by Jeremy? What's Up?

Hey guys:

Just prior to FL Jets someone in Canada, I think it was Jeremy, designed a neat looking wire keeper fixture that you can use to organize the air lines, servo wires etc. in your plane. What ever happened to these? Are they available yet? How did the quality look?

Hi Antony,

I saw them at FJ at the RTI booth. They looked very good and should help in many ways to clean up the insides of our jets.

Hope this helps.

Antony

Sorry for not responding earlier. We took down 20 packages ( 100 units ) of each type ( air and servo lead ) and the response was overwhelming. We sold completely out of them! I have requested from Jeremy another several hundred units and we should have those ready to ship very shortly. We will notify you and all those interested the minute they arrive. We have also made arrangements for a number of jet suppliers to carry the product so hopefully, they will be readily accessible. Thanks for your interest.

Hey Mark:

No these aren't the JTec fixtures (http://www.jtecrc.com/clamplocks.htm), but they looked just as nice, and perhaps even more compact. Once JTec found out that the jet and IMAC guys were using this stuff they got real expensive, so I was hoping that Jeremy's would be more cost effective. I don't have a pic of Jeremy's fixtures, but basically they looked like some sort of plastic or neoprene that were attached in a strip with a hole in the center and a slit in the top so that you can slide the wire or air/fuel line into place. That's a pretty lousy description, so hopefully someone posts a pic for you. The other neat thing about Jeremy's product was that it came in strips, so you could run wires in parallel rather then trying to jam them all into one fixture.

Here is a pic of the JTec units I think you are referring to.

Hi Guys

We have an agreement with Jeremy to market the TidyStrip concept. We have another order of units coming in but frankly we have been overwhelmed with the response. Bare with us for a 7- 10 days as we fill previous orders and we should then get on track. We are also looking at a more efficient / quicker method to cut the strips. If you are interested in trying them out or getting more info please check our site.

thanks guys

Yeah Antony, the ones in your photo are the ones I have used. I liked them, but they were ridiculously expensive. I won't buy more cuase it was just WAY too much.

Here are a couple pics of them put into my Gripen. As Dean said, they come in strips of 10 spaces, this works wonderfully with the 10 channel receiver as it is very close to the same width and keeps everything nice and clean. The looms for the servo wires fit the wire snugly without crushing them, and the airline looms fit lines slightly loose so that any expansion in the air line when pressurized will not cut into the edges. They are laser cut and can be glued securely with CA to just about anything, just cut off the number you need , scuff the back, and glue in place

It's made of a laser cut smoked black plexiglass, good and tough with just enough flex to not break, and great adhesion with CA.
