Try giving Don Kanak a call at Planes Plus. They carry the killer cockpit line and if you tell him what you want and some dimensions, he might be able to help you out. I'm working with him now to find a pilot and cockpit set for the Skymaster F-18. Don is a nice guy and will have some suggestions, I'm sure.
The avonds F-15 pilot they carry might be just a tad big, but they have a yellow F-18 pilot for the 1/10th scale version that might be around the right size. K.

I'm gonna use the MGA pilot bust from BVM. I think it's 1/8th scale. The Skymaster F-15 works out to about 1/9.36785967234 scale or something. I had to trim a lot from the bottom of the bust. Making busts smaller is never a good thing 
. I took out the ridiculous "seat" skymaster puts in the cockpit and added a few scale looking details....I won't have it done in time for Top Gun though. The headrest pads are painted popsicle sticks and the HUD is just some plastic I-beam with a piece of clear plastic from a Great Planes screw package.
As an aside...is anyone else's shop as messy as mine?
