OK DJ-1 + Ducted Fan Unit
I just picked up an OK DJ-1 Jet with a OK Ducted Fan Unit at the Lebanon, PA swap meet.
Anyone out there have experience with this combo? Is the Ducted Fan Unit similar/same as the TK?
The gentleman I purchased it from replaced the rear wheel and skids with main wheels. He said it flew fine off of grass in that configuration. I guess I'll find out tomorrow what kind of shape the engine is in -- will try to fire her up. From the looks of her it doesn't look like she has seen too much air-time.

I just finished my DJ-1 this past Friday. I had hoped to run in the engine over the weekend, but the weather and other projects prevented that from happening. Everyone who has flown the engine/fan combination (Toki) says to run 30% nitro fuel and an OS 8 plug.

I've always like these. I ran the toki 18 in my A7 on 30% with OS#8. Good luck, should go well! seen any vids. I've got a link to one if you want
