Default Kingcat Maiden!

I maidened the Kingcat this afternoon. Dead calm and clear ... perfect day for it. Everything went great! The BMT started and ran great. It's awesome how this jet slows down...then crank 'er up and fly it like a jet. I'm looking forward to logging some more flights this weekend at Fentress to get it dialed in.

Hope to see a lot of you there ....

Great news Jamie,
Just to show how pretty the BMT120KS is close up would you show us some pics of the engine installed?
Cheers

Jamie,

You did a great job preparing your Kingcat and getting that first flight on it yesterday. If you weren't wearing a JR T-shirt, we would have cut the back of it off in classic recognition of your first jet solo! I look forward to flying a bunch with you now.........

Also, Andre that BMT was quite impressive. It started smoothly, ran great, was powerful, and looked very nice, too. I hope that you get production to a level that more US fliers can get their hands on one. Great work!

Hi Robert,
Thanks for the compliment. We are now expanding our staff compliment to support production. However we are commited to a ultra quality product so really big production numbers are some way off.
Cheers

Hi Andre,
I've discovered the BMT120-KS just few days ago and I'm interested about it... can you tell me who's the nearest dealer/distributor for Italy/Europe ?
On your site you say it's Avonds but there's nothing on his site about Bmt.
Many thanks in advance!
Best regards

Angelo

Hi Angelo,
We supply direct from the factory for the time being since our strong currency does not allow much margin for dealers, even in Euros.
You can mail me directly at [email protected]
Cheers

Thanks, Steve. I had a blast at Fentress!

Andre, attached are a few pictures per your request. For the uninitiated, the BMT 120ks puts out 34lbs and is kero start (no propane!) Starts are quick and smooth. The throttle response is among the best around. The engine weighs ~2.9 lbs.

Look very nice. Congratulations! Tell me more about BMT, let's say who service this baby? US or have to send it overseas.
