Are these ones you have made or are these in the current kit. They are very like the ones that I bought from Todd Witkoff at Dreamworks. The bolts are aligned at a more convenient angle on yours though. Mine at at 90 degrees which makes it a little fiddly to tighten up, but they work. The one that came with the kit were hopeless.

That is my own production. Composite send away the kits without linking.
The Linking is transferred by 30 degrees.
