John,
The rotors on all of the Turbax units are the same except for the adapter hardware. What distinguishes a Turbax I from a Turbax III is this adapter hardware and the motor mount on the fan unit itself. Is the motor mount for a 40 size engine (Turbax I) or for a 77-90 size engine? (Turbax III) Next, you will have to determine which engines will fit the fan unit by determining how the engine mount was drilled and what adapter hardware you have.

ok, its a .40 size mount, my OS.77 wont come close to fitting.

I have no adapter hardware, just the fan and 'nose cone' and the housing/mount

It is probably for either the OS 46 or K&B 40-45 engines. These were the most popular. Do you have access to either for a test fit? I don't know, but the mount might be the same for both.

I dont have either, but am hoping it will fit a OS. anyone out there have the hole spacing for me?
