Default How does the Jetronics gear sequencer work ?

I'm looking for some options other than a UP-2 / UP-3 valve for my Hunter, just coz I find the UP valve to be a little finicky in setup. Anyone have any suggestions ?

Jetcat's web page is sadly lacking in details about some products - including the gear door sequencer. Can anyone explain to me how it works - is it simply a servo sequencer, or does it operate pneumatics, or wot ?

Thanks,
Gordon

No experience with the JetTronic Unit, but do use Tom Cook's sequencer with zero problems and easy setup...it is a servo sequencer......

Like Tom said, JMP sequencer, (2) BVM valves, (2) servos.Works every time with no finnicky problems.

Gordon,
I have the Jetronics set up on my Superbandit. They work right out of the box and no issues. It is two valves and it is controlled by an electronic sequencer. Very easy to set up and the air lines plug in like festo fittings. In fact I did not even have to adjust it, right out of the box.

Gordon

be careful adjusting the sequencer to the mode you want. the adjustable pot has no stops so be sure to count the number of clicks you move from the starting point. the sticker on mine was canted just a smidge, so when I thought I was in mode #?? I was actually in the mode directly next to it and nearly got into a "do" loop trying to figure out where "neutral" was.

the electronic valves are awesome!! 3 mm lines or equivalent BVM large bore air lines work great. the 3mm bore on the lines will move a lot of air in a hurry. easily handled the gear and doors on my Hornet. work your way up from 60 psi, you'll be suprised how fast your gear will move. watch your appendages @ 100 psi.

good luck

High Flows and JMP sequencer. no fuss no brainer or Jettronic valves and JMP sequencer.
