I want to thank all of the pilots who attended this years central texas jet rally. Though Saturday became interesting weather-wise, friday and sunday certainly were wonderful days for some jet flying. I will post some images soon but a few items from the meet.

Best Sport Jet: Ray Blair's Jolly Roger Bandit
Pilot's Choice: Mike Jensen's NATO F-16 (Avonds)
Peoples Choice: Paul Bingham's Yellow F-18 (twin)
Top Gun: Larry Laughlin and his Kingcat

47 registered pilots
3 incidents, zero fires!

18 pizza's consumed at friday lunch
20 lbs of fajita meat at friday dinner (too much left over guys, you need to work on that!)
60 lbs of steak consumed saturday evening.

by noon on sunday we had run out of everything.

Thanks again for an outstanding event. I will say again how humbled I am to have such a great group of guys attend this event.

I too want to thank of all the pilots that showed for the event. Especially want to thank all the pilots that flew on Saturday under not so ideal conditions. You put on a great show for tons of spectators that attended. Great job.

Thanks again...Always a great time in Austin. Excellent job on the Weather for Sunday. I lot of flying with 5 mph down the runway and left to right pattern.
