who makes aluminum 4-40 ball links.

just trying to prevent a problem before it happens

Mark, I presume you mean the "real" Heim-end type of ball link? Not the plastic variety with brass inner ball ... If you're looking for the former, I'll be interested also in the replies this thread draws.

Try composite ARF as the links on the tailerons of the Mig are the real thing !

mike yes, real hiem type ball links, a friend of mine had elevator failure, do to the heat , the plastic ball link became soft causing the elevator failure.

Do they need to be a heim type link or can they be a ball bearing link?
