Greater Southwest Jet Rally - Waco TX
Just a reminder that the Greater South Jet Rally will be held in Waco TX Sept. 9 - 11.
Come as early in the week as you like. If you are coming before noon on the 8th (Thurs) let CD know to make sure the gate will be open.
RV's welcome. I think there are 11 electrical hookups (30 amp), first come first serve. $5.00 a day.
There will be a steak dinner served at the field Friday evening. Let the CD know if you are interested so he can get a head count.
There will be a shrimp boil at the field Saturday evening put on by Dan and Doug of the Austin Gang.

I will be there! And yes I can confirm that Buck should be attending. At least my last PM with him he stated so. Also, Bob will someone be able to sign off the renewal forms for AMA? My two years is up this year.

Good point JR.
Turbine waiver renewal or new turbine waiver affidavits.
There will be a notary on site during the event. Bring your forms with you to the event.
form 510-E waiver renewal affidavit
form 510-D new waiver affidavit
Both forms available on the AMA web site.
If someone wants to do a test flight for a new turbine waiver, that can be set up at the event.

The TOP GUN trophy will be up for grabs. You should see this thing, WOW it is nice, a definite show piece. Come and fly your best and it could be yours.

Tam is on the fence, needs Big Gregg Bingham to kick him in his little butt so that we can come out and fly with you guy's. I hear its gonna be one hell of a nice Jet Rally.

Dudes!!! look forward to seeing everyone again. Bob-O sign me up for the Steak and Shrimp.
Sean the bird looks good and will be all set for ya'. i plan on showing up Thursday mid-afternoon.

Tam has been traveling quite a bit and is leaving again on Monday, it is really up to him as to weather he has the time to drive out there. Like I meantioned above, if he gets the right amount of pressure from the right people....he will most likely make it. Otherwise he will continue to engulf himself in the business and never make plans to go. He is SUPER busy, and would love to see all of you..just need to get him there. We are flying on Saturday, I am leaving for Atlanta on Sunday, and he is leaving on Monday...so if any of you want to grab the sticks on the Super Horny, call him asap and bug the crap out of him.

I told David to get his F-4 fixed so I can fly it but he said he couldn't hear me 'cause he was going through a tunnel. when'd they get a tunnel in Oxford, Miss-sip-e?
someone bring a laptop with DVD capability and a bed sheet or similar material, just in case Dennis Lott doesn't make it down. I'm gonna track down a great video of HUD footage I think yaw'll would like.

The MS Gang will be there at least partially! Vernon and I have been working on two new planes and his will be there mine may be there in primer ready for test flights. Of course we will have the rest of the usual hardware anyone with the stones and an F-4 get ready for some hot laps! Buck.......what can I say bro cell phone reception here sucks whenever you mention that F-4.
