For an express box from china, that's pretty normal.
If you get big giant jets sent to you from china for $25, let me know who that carrier is!
What does a starter cost from other companies? $125? $150?

How about talking to the one billing you instead of complaining here?

Since I ship internationallyon a daily basis, I would say this sounds quite reasonable to me if it is going any method other than parcel post...

it is coming from China ya know, not exactly a short distance to travel...btw, who is shipping you "Giant Jets" for less? I want them shipping for me

Jeeze, I thought you ment the price for the starter. That's like what, 1/2 to 1/3 what it would cost for any other turbine...

But its not like they don't send the joe jet guy in NY a couple of dozen of starters at one time.
30 in a box for $25.00 .....not $25 each.

I just don't like being told a high shipping price to cover a low sale price.

buyer beware...

No offense intended... just seems like bad inventory management.

You have to pay somebody to carry it half way around the planet for you...$25 is dirt cheap. How far could you drive (or fly) on $25 worth of gas??

There is no difference in what he did or did not do to you than what tower or horizon does to all of us every day... Order a GLOW PLUG and it will cost you $7.50 from ILL. To KY... Hmmmm.

I don't think they keep any inventory in NY, it all comes direct from China.

John,
I was travel in China for 5 weeks last summer, I sent 2 boxes (4ftX5ft, weigh ~ 30 lbs each) home during the trip. The cost of shipping for each box is ~ USD 150.00. It took 5 weeks to arrive to California in bad shape...Just for references.

It cost me $125 for my F-86 to get shipped from FL to Md. Tower and Horizon aren't doing it to you by themselves; the shippers are helping out as well.
