Default Rossi 90 Df for TGA F15

HI,

I wondering how Rossi 90 DF engine would perform on TGA F15 with Byron fan, i just got my self OS 91VDF almost new engine with Byron fan and tune pipe, i am happy with it, i just thought about Rossi so figured i'll ask and see if i could get Rossi to mount on Byron base and if fan can be mounted on it....

use it for a paper weight, it will be more reliable that way

Stick with the OS and save yourself a lot of grief. The Rossi 90 puts out a little more power but is unreliable and is prone to cutting out in flight. Very few have had success with it. Also the Rossi takes a different mount than the OS.

Sammy,

The Rossi is a good engine with more power however it isn't as rock solid as the OS. Plus you must have the Rossi pipe made for this engine. If you try to use the MAC's pipe (Byron) sooner or later it will melt and you may lose the plane. If the pipe fails when the engine is running the Rossi becomes a flame thrower.

I've found that if you set it up right and throw it as hard as you can, you will get it's best flight. No need to worry about needle adjustment.

The Rossi 90 was thew orst DF motor i have ever owned. The 65 and 81 was a sweetheart, the 90 a disaster.

HI, the Rossi 91 is a good engine but the problem is the pipe, most pipes are too small for theRossi.
