Dave from Colchester Models flies a Hawk with a MW44. It flies very well and he told me last week that he thinks the 44 is a better match for it than the 54. He's been having computer problems recently, so I don't know if he will see this and reply, but I can send a message to him if you want more information. There are several other people out there with 44s in the Hawk, so maybe one of them can contribute here.

I looked into this model for MW44 too. Dave couldn't praise the combo enough!
"Our hawk weighs 10lb with a 44 in and flys fantastic ask Paul Gray as we have let him have a fly of it and he descibed it as being on rails. We have got landing speeds down to 35 mph with an on board telemetry system feeding us back real time speed"
