Default Orbit ECU users

Anyone come across this unusual problem which I have not encountered before, the ecu at start up runs the turbine upto 60k and back to idle, though will
not give control over to the throttle stick. I have tried resetting the ecu
parameters again with idle to 33k and max at 113k at 100%! It recognises the various stick positions and will start as described but no control is given to the throttle stick although the safety kill switch still functions correctly.

Any suggests?

Bob

I use a 4.8v receiver and 7.2v on the ECU.

Rc Driver,

I had a problem with my PST ECU not seeing the R/C signal from the Rx when using a 6.0V Rx pack. I thought your problem might be similar. Sorry.

Throttle reverse??
Thanks Guys

I hought something might be reversed but its just fine in setup mode giving 33k for idle and stick low reading 113k for max with stick forward so its callibrated the tx signal ok. I'll email the ecu designers and post back here this week. Its got to be a safety feature thats kicking in for some reason or other.

It turned out as a simple solution, reset ecu move the idle to 34k or 32k from the original 33k and recycle and store. Run the turbine up and let the aecu establish the 'new idle' and therefore pump voltage then run up to max which is now set at 114,000. Thats it job done and I could reset back to 33k for idle but why bother as it is rock solid on the Behotec J66.[8D] Nice support by ORBIT and a good result
