Baby AW Cougar update
Guys
Had a chance to fly my Baby AW Cougar (EDF kit) with a Lambert T32.
This is the second version fitted with retracts (micro Springair) to get around the need for a dolly or attempted hand launch ;-)
Anyway we had perfect weather at Chalgrove yesterday and I made two flights with the Cougar, the Lambert has just been returned from Martin Lambert for a winter service and if anything it starts even easier, really good!
Take off roll was around 60m (65 yards), performance is perfect, the custom made tail pipe seems to produce a little more thrust than the modified MW 44 pipe which was a little big. As this was the first T-32 it has less thrust than the production units.
Flight time on 500cc is around 6 minutes.
The flying shots are not great as they were taken by my 10 year old son on a Nikon Coolpix 995!

Dave,
Don't knock the shots. He did a fine job. Great plane too. Nice to see more smaller model out there. [8D]
