Default Vector Air Compressor - Great for Retracts/Brakes

I just received my Vector portable 12V powered air compressor from Vector MFG. Apparently Vector is having a close out sale and offering their air compressor along with a lantern for only $38.99 plus shipping. Such a great deal and value. Even cooler is that one of the bases is a 12v battery and the other is setup for plugging into a 12v power source. So even if your battery runs low you can simply switch out bases and continue as normal. Here is the web link:

I put Lithium-Ion batteries in mine, and It works even better. Four cells at 14.4 volts. I have had this installation for about a year.

Harbor freight puts out a $9.00 compressor with a gage that does the same thing,
we all have lots of 12v batteries why pay for another one...

i dont like this unit.. it is slow compared to some of the other equally priced compressors out there ... Wallmart has a really nice one for like $25 and it even has a PSI preset option ...
