I need instructions on how to dye a canopy....
Can someone who has dyed a canopy before, tell me how to get that gold color?
What dyes do I need?
Whats the best way to apply?

Shok,
Do a search under the jets forum for CANOPY and it will come up with a few threads on how to dye a canopy. Also if you do a search for RIT or RIT DYE on all of RCU it will come up with some other threads that arent in jets.

we tryed it on canopys and it worked perfect
so now we can choose gold , green , brown , black , blue

rit,liquid dye 2-golden yellow 1-tangerine 120 degrees in a 5 gallon pot approx 2 minutes longer if you want darker, use a test peice first to test on shading

note leave extra material on canopy drill small hole and use fishing line to dip rinse and trim after cool do not touch untillcompletely rinsed and cool

Use a small scrap piece to check and see if the water is too hot before dipping the canopy. If it is too hot it will melt, shrink and disfigure it. Even if it is not super hot it will still dye the canopy it will just take a little longer. Worked great on my Yellow starfire.
