Merlin in the UK?
I am interested to know where UK owners of Merlin engines bought them from.
Is there a UK service centre or do they need to get sent abroad. If so, where to?

has provided my Merlin and has repaired my Artes engines (Eagle and Bee) very well. He tests every engine before he sends it out. He has his own balancing equipment and I can see no reason why he should not repair your Merlin in the event of a minor prang.

Yep, Robs yer man.
I bought both my Merlins from him and the first one had a minor problem after a years flying. Rob fixed it for me and it is a s good as new.
