Default Anyone bought a Jetcat from Al's Hobbies?

Just interested in your experiences.

Some of the prices are ridiculously cheap compared with other retailers. Are they any different from the ones sold elsewhere? Are they the latest models?

I just can't understand their prices.

that is called : blow away the competition
sometime dealers do that to "clear out stock"
look at it as beeing a gift , dont ask to much just buy it if you need one as long you can...

differerent ? no
latest models? yes
some dealers cant lower the prices ,if they buy the jetcat from graupner they need to hold the "suggested retail price".
believe me when i say we pay more to graupner to get a p-80 then it cost at als hobbies as a end consumer price.
difference? al buys direct from Jetcat , we as poor graupner dealers cant..............
however there are more turbin es in thisworld
also let your decision be smart and have also a GOOD look at performance , fuel consumption , weight thrust to weight ratio.
you can find plenty more with those figures.

I have purchased a P120 from Ali and I know of 4 others who have too. They are the same as you get anywhere just cheaper. As Sandor says theres some sort of price war going on but thats ok with me.

I got a P-120 recently and a friend got a P-70.
Both are new with latest V5.0x ECU that is ready for Kero start upgrade.

We didn't get a manual, but you can download what you need from the JetCat USA site.
That's OK by me, a few trees saved.

Its worth remembering advertising a price means nothing if you cant actually buy it...thats been my experience in 'price war' type situations.

The JetCat or other items you got from Als Hobbies is no different you got from other dealers. It's just sales promotion.
