Bay of Quinte? who's going?
Well, I'm looking forward to dropping by this event as I'll kinda be in town next weekend visiting the museum in Ottawa for final documentation prep for the WJM.
Just wondering how the turnout is there and who all is going?
I may need to bum some jet-A, air and propane if I decide to fly, will have the Sabre with me.

HI David, their is usually a large turnout of pilots their, about 50+ and their is a Saturday night feast at the club field, down the street a ways. Always a good time with open skys and no obstructions on a military base. Flying on saturday and Sunday.

Hi Rcpete,
Do they still have restrictions on leaving trailers on the flying site? It was a pain to have to load back the trailer at the end of every day and having to park it at the hotels which generally don't have much parking space either.
Fun event either way if you are not taking extra planes and can fit it in the car/suv/van etc.

Hey Pete,
I'll be sure to bring my radio and all and maybe get some practice flights in! Looking forward to it, my 1st time there in Canada. I'll be riding with Graeme Mears.

Wow Dave ! A real live celebrity at our little Canadian event ! Sure would love to see you come . It's a great event that I always look forward to . Certainly not on the scale of Florida Jets but but a good relaxing event . The club that hosts it is great and the Saturday night dinner and awards at the nearby host club field is a lot of fun . Looking forward to seeing you there ! Are you going to have a UB for your signature manoeuvre

Hey Marc,
I'm looking forward to it. Hmmm, my UB, c'mon now, that's a hit below the belt buddy! [:-]
Not to worry, I'm flying Spektrum in my Sabre! [8D]

Hey Dave!
I and the wife will be there, camping out at the club field. You must go to the Sat. dinner. The deserts are to die for. Made by the club members wives. Mmmmmm.
The flying site is on an air force base. Not used much these days, except to store surplus aircraft. We are set up at around the mid point of a 5,000 foot runway. Plenty wide too. The pit area is the cross runway. Think of Sanford, Maine without any full size traffic.
If you can make it, drop by Friday afternoon after 4:00 pm. There is usually some test flying going on until 8:00 or so.
See you there!

Hey Paul,
Will not be able to make Quinte this year. Plan to fly the twin at Winamac and Kentucky Jets! Your gears will be on for the Kentucky meet. Of all the Hornets I have, flys the best!!!
