Staale,

You had a lucky escape there, it could have been SO much worse. I hope you recover quickly.

I'm sorry to see your lovely Silver Savex was damaged, and I have to ask ... is the MW44 Gold OK?

Thank you guys so much for your kind words!
Means a lot to me[sm=red_smile.gif]

The driver of the Volvo survived too. He is 18 yrs old.
His injuries is a lot of fractures in his legs and hips. They had to cut his car open, and it took them over an hour to get him out.
The police report/ his statement says he was de-hydratet and passed out/ blacked out. I have somewhat a problem with that because if he was so de-hydrated that he passed out, he would be in no shape to safely drive a car in the first place. I have filed a complaint wiht the police hoping they will prosecute him. we'll see.

As for the material damage to my equipment I have to send a claim to the other part's insurance company. I'm told I am intiteled to be compensated for all my medical expenses and material losses.
But that will have to wait a while more as I'm in no shape to deal with that yet. I'll probably let a lawyer handle it later.

But I have so much to look forward to.
Last week the DHL guy delivered a Skymaster 1/6 F-16 in Tiger scheme with all the bells and whistles and the new LG. I have not been able to unpack yet, but hpefully someone will help with that soon.

I have also bought a new hobby car It is a Volkswagen Transporter with a solid wall between the cargo compartment and the front seats. No more small 1 tonne car for me...
I drive a lot of kilometers each year on roads like that to meetings and our field an hour away, so I wanted something newer, heavier and taller.
As soon as I get better, I'll start to make system that let's me safely secure the jets and other gear in the back.
First time ever I've bought a car without test driving it my self My girlfriend did that for me[8D]

Wayne22:
Yes it was the white little car that was mine.

mdurand:
It will have to wait a while more To be honest I have just taken a look under the lid so far. I hoping one of my Jet buddys will stop by soon so we can get it unpacked and make sure everything is there and in good shape.
Thank you so much so far, Michel[sm=thumbs_up.gif]

digitech:
Thanks Sandor!
The plane tickets to Jetpower 2007 was ordered a week after Jetpower 2006, so I'm definetly going to be there
Looking forward to meeting you again! I'll keep my wallet open

StigA:
Thanks buddy!
If i'm able to come to one of your meetings in August or later, I'll let you know.
Anyway I'll see you at Jetpower, right?

WrenTurbines:
Thanks Sara!
I have not been able to look at it much yet, but I know after a impact like that, all electronics/ pump needs to be replaced and the engine shipped to you for a full check up. I'm taking no chances with the next plane[:-]
See you at Jetpower

Swedish AircraftTechnician:
Hi Thomas!
Yes. I'll try to be there for one of your great meetings this fall.
I enjoyed my self so much on the last Laxå-meeting in May[8D]

Wish you the best in getting back at everything you need to do with as little pain possible.
That new ride sure looks good! It be tough to decide whats first...the van or the 16....hmmm oh and if it doesn't fit...then say you don't like the way it drives and get a bigger one....blame it on you know who LOL.
Cheers mate.
Take care.

mate you are going to love the big f 16, and the tiger scheme is the paint i should have ordered, the camo is very effective, but it flys just like a big trainer, although not many trainers go straight up with such grace. start building, it will make you feel better (i hope!).
p.s.i think skymaster should do a 1/6 hornet for 2x 120 - 160...... what do you say anton??
