Fei Bao F9F Panther MAIDEN! Video!!
Today, I finished my Fei Bao F9F Panther - it is set up with a Graupner GBooster 160, a Weatronic 12-20 Gyro
dual receiver, all JetTronics valves and sequencer and Hitec digital servos all around. I have 2 2000 mAh
battery packs for the receiver, and a LiIo 2500 mAh packs for the turbine. I tested the turbine today, and I
think I will have to go easy on the throttle on this one!
I hope to maiden it during the weekend, it is a beautiful plane, and I hope it flies as well as people tell me!!

Hehe, sorry, it's from scratch - very easy, blue foam and some prints and paint...

The all up weight dry comes in at approx 14 kg.
There was a post here earlier from Pete - it has disappeared, but if you see this, Pete,
we are very much looking forward to Laxå in May, I will bring the big F-16 and the
Panther if the maiden goes well this weekend.

In a beautiful spring weather, I maidened my Panther today, and it was a joy!! Quite overpowered
with the GBooster 160 onboard, I had a very short take-off run and she flew! A few clicks of down
and right trim had her flying hands off, and she was like on rails, even without the wagging that I
have seen in many other Panthers. I tried all the maneuvers in the book, and she just did anything
I wanted.
At one time I pointed the nose straight up, and the Panther climbed effortlessly 90 degrees up for as
long as I wanted - great fun!!
The air cylinders seem to be a bit weak, as the doors opened a few times during high G maneuvers.
But all in all, a very good looking, nice plane - I'm a happy man today!

Main doors, I filled it up with approx 85-90 psi, but still the doors opened during pull-ups and tight turns..
I will change all my cylinders.
