Anyone using the 12x rx yet
I have seen the 12x transmitters being used. Just wondering if anyone has used the rx's yet. Also has anyone figured out how to get the gear door sequiencer to work. My 12 should be here this week and I am wondering if I can use it for my super hornet seeing that it has all the gear doors
Thanks
David

Yes,
I have been using the 1221 with the 12X. As for the sequencer - well after 5 hours on the bench I have not been able to find a way to get a P51 / Panther etc style door sequencer to work. The best I can do is a quick retract up followed by a slow main door close. In reverse, quick door to open, slow retract down. I tried to use the multi point mix with servo slow but as you hit the gear switch the servo or air rtract valve simple ignores the curves and goes from one extreme to the other.
If anyone has some other ideas I am all ears. Oh.....I tried playing with offsets to and that has no impact on the servo slow function either.

Hi,
I have been using the 1221 in my Mig... since Top Gun... I am setting up a 1222 in my Ultra Bandit.
I am unfamiliar with the sequencer you are refering to. Are you referring to an external one you are trying to make work?

Perhaps people would be more able to help if you let us know WHICH external one you are trying to make work.
Jetronic ones can benifit from a Matchbox, until they revise the design to work with a lower voltage pulse.
(I do not know of a way t make it work internally to the Tx.)
Have Fun,

David,
If the mix would follow the servo slow for the master channel you could use the transmitter programming to do the gear sequnecing. On another note do you know how to make the trimmer levers on top of the gimbal housings work like a snap roll button (ie momentary)?

Hi David
I cannot get the mix to follow the servo slow. The software just sees the extreme end pulse once the gear switch is thrown and the servo simply defaults to the end totally ignoring the curve. I am open to trying any other ideas though.

FWIW I use Tom Cook sequencers and his earlier models are not compatible with 2.4 GHZ.
He has one out that is: I have one but have not tried it yet. He also has an exchange program
for the older models that I believe to be fair....contact him. I have the 1221 and will install it in
my Ultra Bandit after I have tested the receiver in a cheaper plane for a while.

So it either works or does not. Ist not like it burns up the sequencer. I have the ProJet sequencer V 2.0.. When my 12x comes in I guess I will have to try it out.

I called tom on the JMP sequencer and they seem to work just fine with JR. He said the voltage for JR is to close to the "edge" for his liking and would advise changing. It is the "other" radio's that are not working with his sequencer.
