Default If only the doors were closed

A few days ago Ron Longs SM F16 was "Clocked @194 mph. Standard issue radar gun....+/- 3%......
Shot these today , as you can see the doors are open [], it might even been 199 mph if closed... BTW Ron plans on doing maintenance when His New F 16 arrives in Phoenix.....The builders/mechanics are swamped with work ,and there is a rumor about forming a "Union" kidding........

Glad you're here Marine, and awesome pics.

Ron is really hauling the mail with the F-16!!!!! The P-200 sounds incredible and the take-off rolls are spectacular. I spotted for him and he had the yellow centerline between the mains for the entire takeoff roll. Well done. Per the full scale procedure, his new standard takeoff sequence is to rotate, climb out at a shallow angle while sucking up the gear and letting the speed build. Then he goes vertical to about 1500 ft and it's breathtaking!!!!!! The plane has incredible presence in the air, even from as far as the gate to the field.

It's a hullofa "ride" and Ron flys it very well. Everyone says that he's come quite a long way (and fast) from the early days and you gotta believe that with what we see now!!! The poor old gong just gathers dust. It's the passing of an era with these days gone.........

I can`t speak for any other company but imo the scale retracs in Rons SM F-16 get my vote for the toughest most reliable gear in the industry.

Yep, fo sho!....We have all been eye witnesses to Ron's "testing" in the past. He has it figured out now though.

I have to say that Ron's F-16 is one of the most impressive toy model airplanes that I have ever seen and Ron is really starting to exploit it's potential. Like Jim said, those "full burner" takeoffs and climb outs are awe inspiring to say the least!

Skymaster has gotten this one dead on..................

Tailwinds,

John

Guys I fully agree. Sky master has built a winner here. I am so happy about it I bought another one just for a spare That way when I send this one in for some adjustments I won't be without one.

Nice camera work Joe (as usual), you must be in heaven in the Valley of the Sun. Just think of all the ice storms you are missing out on back in Jersey!

What doors???? Just like in the former Soviet, no flaws or mistakes will be left in the history books - everything was perfect..!!
Great plane, Ron - I love that scheme. I have just put a P180 in mine and have not flown it yet, but was amazed at the power when
I started it up the other day, this will make a huge difference!
