best thing to use is using a normal shipping by sea company.
let them calculate it for you..
or if wants dhl , measure the box use this formula : LxWxH devide by 6000 you have volume in kilo.
BUT max size of box is L+W+W+H max is 3000mm (milimeters).
1 thing is for sure shipping models by dhl , ups or fedex is a nightmare...

RE: International shipping?
Brickyard,
I had good luck with this company. They handled everything for me and they weren't too expensive.

If the package is relatively small, nothing beats USPS International Priority Mail. If it is a large package, use a shipping company.

RE: International shipping?
I was talking about large plane size boxes, those are usually cheaper to ship with a common carrier. However, with that being said, Fly Eagle sent me two GIANT boxes vis EMS/USPS and it was actually pretty good (according to the bill of lading).
Bottom line, when I can ship UPS, I do.
