F-4 cockpit colors

F-4 cockpit colors
I am working on a JMP F-4,I know the cockpit is stand off scale,Does anybody know what colors are used in the full size one? I know that the instrument panels are black,but as far as the side walls and the seats I do not know.

Hi Guy,
Your question is slightly vague as there were so many different F4's during its reign. However, I have a suggestion. Verlinden publications has a series of aircraft reference booklets called Lock-On. Check out No. 10 (British Phantoms) Included are some of the most detailed cockpit photos I've ever seen. Amazon.com should carry this series or else Verlinden will sell it. Hope this helps.

F-4 cockpit colors
The color that was used the most on air force and navy phantoms was grey. I can't remember the name of the book right now but I have one that shows the cockpit of the F-4E in fantastic detail.
