BVM will not attend Toledo
To all the guys going to Toledo: Just on the BVM website, and the front page says that BVM is not going to attend Toledo. BV gives the marketing reason for his decision. I for one will miss the booth. Oh well, still a lot to see and do. Bill Harris

To Bad for the guys who can't get out to the flyinns. I have been at every Toleod since 1978 and I always look forward to BV's booth. This was a surprize to me as I just talked to Patty last week about my Bobcat backorders. But this is a business and having worked in the industry for 15 of the last 30 years. I can first hand tell you that it is a big deal to shut down your shop and travel half way over the country to just show not fly your stuff. Well at least with BV not coming I have more money to go to Superman with in Oct.

BVM will not attend Toledo
I was looking at an early seventies magazine...Bob Violett had brought the first scozzi-powered DF model to Toledo to demo. Won the best in show thing, even though he hit a telephone pole and totaled it on takeoff.
Son-of-a-gun, though...the thing looks almost EXACTLY like a Bobcat! Twin fins and booms and all that...

Bob does have a booth...2006. I searched for photos and coverage of the Toledo Show on my first
search without placing a date on the search...Bam it turned out to be 2002...like DUH! Buy me books,
go to school, draw me stick images explaining how searches are done...and I jump right in and do it
as if I don't know what a stick figure looks like...
Glad Dustin's waving the company flag. Although
the cost of gas this morning is enough to discourage a lot of attendees...thanks guys!

Think about it this way though there are a lot of us that can't make it to Toledo either. I would rather see a plane flying than see it on a pedestal at a trade show. I would also rather them be at the shop working on my F-100 too! And all the other neat gadgets that will be coming down the pipe.
