Default inside tailcone color for afterburner rings?

Just wondering if it makes a big difference what color the inside of the tailcone is for the best effect on an A/B ring? Seems silver would reflect more of the light....maybe it does't matter all that much in reality? Comments from those who have tried different methods for the best effect. My tailcone is currently black inside, and for looks, I'd like to leave it that way if possible.

"White" would be best for reflecting light in the most uniform manner and maximizing a brighter reflective effect from more angles in my opinion. You would think chrome tape!! etc, but that only works well from certain angles in comparison where as white will have a broader reflective effect especially at any distance.

Then I would guess a coating of the white BVM Heat shield would serve a dual role. Does anyone know if you can glue stuff to the BVM coating?

Unfortunately black would be the worst color as it absorbs light across the entire visible spectrum. White, conversely will reflect light across the spectrum. Of course, the color of the full-sized aircraft's nozzle should likely be the prevailing factor in making the decision which color to use. Fortunately for me, the Gripen's is near white.

As for gluing to BVM heat shield, it is possible (I'd bought a plane in which the builder had used Goo to glue to the shield.) but it's messy. The shield did pull away from the fuselage but I don't know if the fuselage was properly sanded before the shield was applied.

Regards,

Jim
