Tom.... that's funny! I was spotting at DFWsince I couldn't fly RC and trying out a new SLR. The pile-its were earning their paychecks today - lots of dipping wings! ![](http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/js/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/msn/biggrin.gif)
Chad, how do you get your battery indicator to display the % next to the indicator on your iPhone?

Gee TOM, I didn't know this is what you did while you're RONing..... Cool. Guess SAT is the only place with reasonable winds today; 68 degrees and 12 knots...... Loving it!

Settings > General > Usage > Battery Percentage ON
Did you ever find out why the photos were coming out washed-out?

Chad,
Yes and No. Today I shot on fully automatic (camera chooses both aperture and shutter) at both DFWand at our club field. So, my theory that before when I was forcing a 2.8 aperture in Aperture Priority was causing it is false or at least not totally accurate. Probably has something to do with the white balance setting which Ihaven't messed with yet. (tendencies naturally are outdoor pics seem to be blue and washed out - indoor pics seem to be dark and red, the camera has a way of calibrating to this but Idon't know if it was set correctly) I also was shooting at ISO 200 which may need to be different, dunno yet. The sages in here have been under gag
orders LOL ![](http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/js/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/msn/teeth_smile.gif)
Both of these pics were taken today in basically the same conditions (somewhat hazy and overcast). Obviously even though both were using the same magnification - the full scale had to see through a lot more air and distance. Dunno..... still a newbee!
My stupid phone doesn't have that option in my current s/w ver. I guess
