Default Ultra Lightning vs Eurosport

Based on this pilot profile (below), which plane is better; Ultra Lightning or Eurosport?

Profile:

- prefers slow flight
- only performs mild aerobatics
- first turbine jet (flies turbine scale heli)
- prefers slow landings
- doesn't mind "boring" for this jet

Considering flight characteristics and kit quality, which do you think is best? If you want to weigh in with another alternative, please do!

Hello Michael,

As a first jet the Eurosport is a winner.

- flight envelope is huge, very slow to high speed.
- slow landing capability due to the delta configuration and the low wing load.
- visibility in the sky is good

The last but not the least you cannot compare both in term of total cost.
The Eurosport is much more cheaper.

I enjoy both of them, they have different flight caracteristics but they are amazing planes.

Have a good choice.

Buy the Skygate Viper!!! Than all your wishes comes true!
This jet is a real winner, especially for beginner.

I´ve flown a Bommerang like aircraft, the Eurosport, Kangaroo, Jetlegend L 39, but the Skygate Viper ist the best way of relaxing flying und landing!

Hi Michael,

It is too dificult to compare the Eurosport with the Ultralightning. They are too diferent.
Who likes the eurosport doesn`t like the Ultra.
From my point of view i would choose the Erosport as fist plane. It is slow, you can fly it on whatever runway and is hasn`t got doors.

After do more than 100 flghts with it buy an Ultralightning.

Raúl

Pd: If you don`t want to get bored put a vector nozzle in the eurosport after several flights...you will get very fun!!

I have a bit of stick time on both and having read your initial post, I would say that the Eurosport ticks most of your boxes.
I also think the Euro would be an easier transition ( flying wise ) from heli's to jets, as well as being an all round simpler jet to build/ operate and maintain.
Hope this helps?

There really is no verses with these jets. They are two totally different jets with different flight characteristics, size and cost. It would be better to compare an Ultra Lightning to a BVM Ultra Bandit and a Eurosport to another delta wing type aircraft.

But based on your requirements the Eurosport is the best. Plus it will cost several thousand $$ less.

From what I'v seen of the two and even this last week-end, The Euro is the way to go. Very easy to fly and land bird. While we are on it, Does anyone kit/make a 18 pound thrust Euro kit??? Good luck to you Michael!!!
