Default MIP CVD's

I just installed some MIP CVD's on my RC10 GT. How much play should my axles have back and forth through the bearing? It had a little play with the dog bones, but I have enough shims to take it all out of the CVDs. I'm thinking I need some, but how much, if any, do you guys have?

I use a feeler guage, I use a paper thin one (a couple thousanths), you can also use a business card. You can also do what they do on losi trucks, put a peice if steel or alluminum tube in between the bearings in the axle carrier, you can crank it down as tight as you want.

As long as they don't bottom inside of the differential
outdrive hub, or come close to pulling out of the diff outdrive hub, you're good to go.
