dude that sucks. you can put that shock tower in a vise and then beat it with a hammer to straighten it out, but be carefull, incase you didnt know, aluminum also cracks when you put stress like that on it. Masher 2ks are cool, i have a set of 4. they are prbably twice the size of my street tires.

cool, thanks. what tyype rims are those.
i get so tired of going through the tower stock, reading all the fine print measurements..
do those rims have the pin/shaft mount?

those are the traxxas stock rims...i dont really care about my rims too much. Ive only broken 1 ever...which was bashing yesterday..then went to Hobby Shop this morning and broke this stuff today.
so in all in two days my broken parts were:
-2 shock towers
-3 shocks
-1 rim
-bent alluminum shock tower
-shattered bearing holder

the only thing is that the blue chrome comes off easily. im waiting for more to come off then ill strip it completely and paint them. then if they get scratched up you can just spray more paint on them. haha

when you bend that shock tower back into place put some heat with a little butane torch. this will keep it from snaping. Also I put little pices of cut up tire between my shock tower and the bulkhead pice. this allows the shock tower to move a tiny bit and makes a big difrence in how long the tower lasts.

Paul do you find that the mashers give you better tractino when put on backwards like that? Guy at my lhs recommended i do that but it just looks weird to me lol. Did you try them the other way first? Just got those tires with some RPM rims for my nvader. Also got some dirt-works ones with rims as well.. and a gallon of traxxas 20% fuel (was all part of my birthday present from my parents
).

Two rustlers? Dang.. i kinda wish i went the rustler route now... i just need top-end out of that evader somehow and that engine in the rustler/t-maxx/revo makes me drool every time i see it.
If you ever decide you wanna sell one of your rustlers lemme know! Or if you ever hear of someone selling a used one at a decent price.
