OFF SET SPUR GEAR (RC10GT)
What is the different between a offset spurg gear vs "flat" spur gear?
I know what the phsyical difference is, but thats about it...

In order for the spur to mesh with the clutch bell, it needs to be off-set. The whole idea (I think) was to keep the center of gravity as close to the center of the car as possible.

Thats what I kind of thought about the mesh idea, but the Robinson rc10gt reaplcement 66 tooth spur is flat
I thought that was kind of odd,

If it lines up with the clutch bell, then it fits. The RRP gear is flat on the right side, but dished on the left side (when installed), right?
Just make sure that the spur lines up with the middle of the clutch bell. If it is off to one side or the other, it will load the bearings in the tranny, and make them dead.
