If I am not mistaken, you have to clock the motor plate first. If you don't feel like doing that, You can buy them from [link=http://www.eastendmachining.com/whkihopuppaf.html]East End Machining[/link].

I just got my crawler king a few weeks ago and am running it stock except for the front axle steering servo mount, axle guards (which I don't like) and a titanium foil bumper I whipped up so I don't kill the TVPs when casing it. Aluminum tie-rods are coming for it. I didn't think I'd enjoy crawling but this truck is a lot of fun.

Just use a balloon. It is that simple and that easy. My axle mounted servo is a waterproof Traxxus. It works well in water, snow, or on the beach.

not for the speed control, it needs air flow

I had the same hesitation at first. Then someone finally talked me into trying it and I have had no issues thus far. It took me several months to come around to doing it. Another idea that the local shop told me several years ago is to get waterproofing spray for electronic circuit boards. I still am not sure why I never went that route. Any way it is your truck and your build and that is why this forum is here. Everyone adds their own touch to their own build. Good luck man!!!! Lets see some more of those sweet Arizona rocks.

You need to get a shim kit for your lhs that ranges from 1mm to 5mm. A shim kit that's for wheel bearings. Tamiya makes a good one and it's cheap

i was using the 27t that came with it, but i think it died, it goes very slow now with the stock gearing, and doesn't have as much torque. doesn't wheelie any more.

Are you using it as a crawler or just a truck???
