I'm replacing the keel on a Soling 1meter. The new keel comes as 2 halves. I added 8 lbs. of lead shot and epoxy. It will be glued into the hull.

Only glue it to the hull if you have to Most boats have a threaded shaft to secure the keel and allow removal.
