I've got an old Sig cataloq with one color picture of the cub. Not much help. I did find out that through the N number at the FAA's registration web site that the cub is still registered to Hazel Hester Sig:

N32629 is Assigned to...........

Registered Owner
Name SIG-HESTER HAZEL L
Street 401 S FRONT STREET
City MONTEZUMA
State IOWA

Zip Code 50171
County POWESHIEK

If you are serious I would suggest that you contact Hazel and arrange a drive to Iowa and shoot a couple of rolls of film of the CUB. Oklahoma isn't extremely far from Iowa........could be worse anyway.

Hey Baldeagle, That is a beauti you have there.Do you fly from water much?I have lake Michigan at my front door and have been thinking on a float plane for sometime now .Ofcourse I could only fly from here on exceptionally calm days.I live in the boonies so people are not a prob ,especially in early spring .Is the plane in picture the 1/4 scale Cub ?Who makes the floats.I`m just starting to build a 1/4 scale Sig Clipped Wing Cub and the floats are a very interesting option.

My sweet hart gave me a set of Great Plane floats for Christmas. The box fills very heavy. I will be building the Great Planes 60 size cub clipped wing, painting it blue and white,(Thanks to your help) and adding the floats. I thinking of replacing some of the wood in the float kit to save some weight. I'm using a ST 90 for power.

Hi garry SS,
Nice plane .I`m just finisheng up my SigCW Cub.What are you using for power?I`m ready to cover and am looking at various color combos-Yours in yellow looks real nice.I like it.I`m using a Saito-1.30 twin in mine and I realize this won`t make it over powered but, it should be close to scale in performance.

Wulf, Ha, don't be fooled by my pictures.....they are of a full scale CWC that I captured off of the photo section in www.popularaviation.com. When jmkington asked for some pictures I thought he might like these since they are a little different than most. But if you would like some wheel pants for your model you might check these out: http://www.fiberglassspecialtiesinc.com/wheelp.htm
