I'm looking for dzus fasteners to secure an opening cowl. Does anyone know where I can find them?

These used to be easily available at many of the places that construct race cars. Look into your telephone yellow pages for auto racing equipment dealers.

The shop may not have the smaller sizes you need though.

Prather makes some. Check hardware for RC boats. They are about 5/16" in diameter.

I'm pretty sure Prather no longer makes them. Gator R/C does carry them however, http://www.gatorrc.com/
