Default C-124 R/C plans

Looking for some plans for a C-124 80" wingspan or bigger, for R/C and IC motors...Anyone have a good source for these odd ball planes...Don't care whether is fiberglass or wood/foam...But would like big enough for R/C work....Thanks! Charlie

c-124 globemaster with wingspan of 84" was a controline kit along time ago,1950's.it used 4 .19 to .29 engines.I have the plans and tracings of all the parts but as far as an r/c model in this size you need to consider the wing area,it will be omly about 550 sq inches.it may be better suited to electric with all the room in the fuse for batteries.especially if you use li,po's and brushless motors.

Here are some pics of the one i built in 1970..was a U-control kit, but converted to R/C...Differnet airfold was used, and the wing was increased a bit...4- OS 25 FSR 2 stroke engines....Took off and went left and couldn't save it....Could say there was too much left torque..Very high wing loading...Plans and info on building it,are gone,so am not much help..Just though you might want to see it completed....

Default C-124 plans

The C.A Marco plans are available on Ebay.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/C-124-GLOBEM...item2ecba6f1e4
They are dated 2007 . The ebay ad says 80" wingapan, but at 1/24th scale, it is 87" span.
