nightfighter tiger1 update
decided my nightfighter Tiger1 needed some figures to go with it, so i modded some Tamiya 1/16 figures using Vampir units from RCTANK DE of Germany

one of the mods I have used is to make the airsoft switch change between IR Spotlights to the normal white headlights at the flick of a switch, I have removed the airsoft capability so that I can mount a 5mm bright yellow LED in the end of the barrel, which is fed from the IR battle LED feed off the RX-18 board, press the fire button, cannon sound and flashing barrel LED.

Hi Elefant, the big spotlights are ones used on boats as searchlights and the IR scopes are bits of plastic or brass tubing superglued together with copper wire acting as electrical feeds, then painted black. The spots come with bulbs, but are chromed, the lens I then painted dark red and all 5 come on together, looks good at night or dusk.
