Very cool, Rex. I was looking through the photos, with all the vehicle and equipment designations printed beneath, and I couldn't help but laugh out loud when I came to "Big Ass Tires".

Crius ----
Most of my tanker buddies have been there. It's Disneyland to me. My favorite is the Marmon-Herrington CLT-3 Combat Car --- copyright photo 172. I would love to own that critter. The first time I was there was around 1985 or 86. Back then an afternoon was all you needed to see everything. I gotta get down there again.

P.S.
I found this on another site --- M-H CTL-3 COMBAT CAR- One of five Marmon-Herrington CLT-3 vehicles delivered to the USMC in 1937 and eventually disposed of in 1942. Since then this vehicle underwent several modifications and was used in a 1940 Bob Hope movie. In 1993 it was used in the television series "Brisco County Jr." Power: V-12 Lincoln Zepher.
