DKLM is taking pre-orders (including mine) at this point. He says production will commence this month and should start shipping 2nd week in August, so I'd expect delivery the 2nd half of August.

Based on past purchases from DKLM it's a 10 day transit, at least to California. Mine's on its way too.

Edit: My 10-day estimate was based on other purchases. It appears, at least in my case, that he expedited shipping. Mine is due tomorrow via UPS Express, estimated.

Have you got a link to the pre-order? I can't find the M270 on the DKLM site.

Carson sends out the tracking number. It includes the shipping company website. Is that what you’re asking?

If you're looking for where to buy one, DKLMRC..Tank & Truck Kits..Tongde.

Since he has stock in hand, I guess it's not a pre-order anymore.

I suppose the first thing I could should do is make sure which model you're talking about that's on the way. Did you pre-order a Bradley or an M270? I was hoping for the M270 but I do see the Bradley at his website, and not the M270.

M2 Bradley, the topic of this thread. If you know of a company producing a 1/16 RTR M270, please share and start a new thread!

That IS quick! Are these going to have the green camo paint or just one solid color?

I never asked.

I'll believe it when it shows up, but it's on the UPS shipping details site. At this point, tan is all that has been shown online. Given the large amount of add-on parts it'd take a lot of work to camo it. A job for us hobbyists!

Got it. There was a lot of discussion about the 270 and then I saw, "I pre-ordered one" so I thought they were talking about the 270.

Max-U52: Yeah, that's the problem with a thread of an as-yet unreleased product; topic drift. I'm as guilty as anyone about that! I'll be running a new thread about the M2 on Hobby Squawk when it arrives to reduce the speculation posts.

Panther F: DKLM did a rush shipment when the M60 first became available. He likes to be ahead of the curve!

It looks good, but I think a repaint is clearly needed as the clumsy effort at preshading needs another coat of sand on top to make it look less jarring. Its like the JSI F-14 which was absolutely ruined by the spotty "weathering" paintwork that made it a non-starter for me.

Yeah, they got rather carried away with the preshading, but for years now I've just assumed that ANY RTR tank I buy is going to need new paint. I've seen a couple factory paint jobs that weren't bad, but most of them are crap and need repainting.
