Hummel vent configurations
The Hummel had a series of louvres providing air intake for the engine. But some sources say these were often covered by upward facing triangular structures.
I can only find pictures of these on models and in games.
Has anyone any pictures of how they looked on actual vehicles - if they existed at all.

Thanks for that. These are the vents I was familiar with appear to be the default.
But Ive seen mentioned twice that they were often fitted with a triangular, upward facing cowling - presumably to stop someone sticking somethng in them.
This is from tanks-encyclopedia.com
"A metal louvered cover ventilated the engine, but many later versions were fitted with an angled shield that opened upward."
But i cannot find out what they looked like? There are not any pictures I can find even though "many" would indicate there should be some?
