Default Matorro King Tiger

Anyone hear anything new about this? Over on the PK board there is a pretty god thread on it but I don't read German. Pulled these pic's off their forum. If someone can head on over there and tell me what they're saying. Looks like a lot of HL parts inside. Check out the gearbox. Is that what's in the Sturm?

We should stick the 'HL-Matorro King Tiger due fall 2008' thread, to avoid the periodical 'discovery' of it.

This is not a periodical re-find, I believe these are new pic's. Might be wrong. Have you seen these before?

So what PC board is this using? It has the Mosfet daughter board from the TX14 but the smoke, sound and receiver board connectors mount on the edge of the board and not in the middle. Is this the same as the Sturmtiger PCB or is it yet another variation?

Perry, he's saying (like me) how much he cursed the Tiger at having to remove the tracks to get the screws out for removal of the top and the need of having a magnetic screwdriver to put them back, also he's PO'd at the Chinese lack of knowledge of there the exhaust exits and the lack of prepared provision for the tubes. His is an early (pre series) model and he doesn't agree with some details on the tank, which he intends to improve upon. He will explain and show the difference later.

Does he mention how accurate it is scale wise?

I notice it has a bulge in the front lower hull for the gearbox, guess that'll need sorting (have to fit a tam gearbox).

If its like the Matorro Sturmtiger it will need new electronics if you want any range+control, I like my Sturmie but man the RC blows. They also did a nice job on the detail for the Sturm and the paint was decent enough to leave in place and just add details and weathering.

[]Looks like the same inerts of the sturmtiger...wish they would have upgraded for the bigger king tiger tank ...... as the sturm is lacking in the POWER department.

OK. I have seen the other pic's posted (2 of them). Haven't seen these with the top off. Since this is old news to you, do you have any links or pic's to add to the discusion?

I noticed that the battery compartment is like the Sturmie too, taking the little 8 cell AA's.

Thanks UHU, awesome pics. Man I must have been dozing if I missed all this stuff

Would it really be that hard for them to not mold on the tools!
