Default Removing moulded Toolkit

Hi
I just got a metal toolkit and wondered what the best way of removing the moulded tools was? I got a dremmel.

Dremmel is the magic word....I'd be totally lost without it. The mini saw blades from Micro-Mart are the ultimate in trimming or reconfiguring any model. [8D]

Hi

I found the dremmel good for the larger parts but it does leave marks that need a bit of tyding up. I use a set of side cutters for the handles and smaller parts - the type used for removing plastic kit parts from the sprues. It leaves the area a lot tidier and smoother and it only then needs a light sanding to finish off. As I said though, the dremel is needed for the bigger bits.

Cheers

for small raised details I use the chizel blade for the number 11 handle or the chizel blade for the larger handle. I turn the blade over so the beveled side is down and just shave off the raised bits. You can also tap the end of the handle to aid in shaveing them of
