Default Question on Running heavy Tanks >5kg with ELMOD

Just curious.

I've noticed that some German websites are selling the late Tiger that is upgraded heavily with many metal parts e.g. Metal road wheels, Metal tracks...etc. I'm very sure the weight is well above 5kg. But it is also equipped with the new 3:1 ratio metal gearbox.

Theoretically, IF the stock HL board can run this heavy tank well using the new gearbox, does it mean that I can also run it with my Elmod system properly without the need to add an afterburner? [sm=confused.gif]

Well, let me put it this way

I had my Tiger 1 equipped with all that you can think og in metal. Also put on some additional stuff as soldiers, panzerfausts, weapons, barbed wire etc. The Tiger is avout 6.5 kilo. I used to runt it with El-Mod electronics in it, ( no HL electronics att al) It did run OK, but when I put in the afterburner, things changed. I suddenly god a TIger that could manouvre in most terrain with all the weight being no problem.

I have just ordered the ned Big-Booster where the afterburner is build in. By this, I hope to get it to run my King Tiger with a weight of 7.5 kilo.

Oh, btw, I also but in more powerfull 22.000 motors That gave the scale speed with my reduction gears from Willy.

In my mind there is no doubt. El-Mod + reduction gears + power motors + added weight + all metal = Best Panzer experience
