Default RCV and winter flying

Greetings:
As the winter season approaches I was wondering if RCV has any specific suggestions for their engines during the cold. I have seen metal high temp tape used to decrease airflow to theoretically maintain higher engine operating temps. I own a 58cd and a 60sp both with pretty much wide open airflow.

Default RE: RCV and winter flying

Hi Bowmaker

You will be pleased to know that you really don't have to make any special additions to aid Winter flying as RCV engines tend to run on the hot side anyway.

I hope this helps, however if you have any more questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Best regards
Laurenne Mansbridge
