Default Byron T-34/RCV

I have a Byron T-34, weighs 9.5 lbs without an engine, scale prop size is around 13.5 inches. Which RCV would work for scale like performance. I was thinking the 60 but all up weight will be around 11 lbs.

Thanks,
Chuck

Hi Chuck

Thanks for your interest in RCV engines.

What size engine does the kit recommend? Our engines are comparable to other 4-stroke engines of the same capacity. Therefore if the kit recommended a .60 2-stroke or a .90 4-stroke, our RCV90SP would be best.

From the weight you have given, I would say that the RCV90SP would be best for your warbird. This engine will allow you to swing eg. 18x12 2-bladed props; 15x13.5 3-bladed props; 15.5x12 4-bladed propellers.
The model would really be too heavy for the 60SP.

If you have any more queries, don't hesitate to contact me.
Best regards
Laurenne
