120 SP 4 blade prop size.
Hi all. Still sorting out my RCV 120 sp.
I actually had the motor installed in my BT spitfire and all ready to go but after running it up on the ground for 2 minutes I took it out until I can sort out the vibration issue.[:@]
It starts like a dream. Runs like a dream, idles like a dream, vibrates like a ........
I removed the shim to try and reduce vibration a couple of days ago and that seems to have helped a bit.
Anyway, hope fully another two years of running in will smooth it out. (Sigh)
I've also just installed an old (very very old!) OS silencer set. I think I now have the worlds quietest 120 SP
Question. What’s the latest word on a four bladed prop?
I'm running a 15.5 x 12 and it seems a little small. any suggestions?
Cheers
Glen

RE: 120 SP 4 blade prop size.
Ah stupid me. Typo.
I am running the 15.5*12 prop not the 12.5*12.
Guess it's right. It's only in a 11.3 pound plane. (BT spitfire) Should be plenty of power. Going to run in it for another hour tomorrow morning hopefully.
Cheers
