Default Adobe Acrobat Reader Plans

Hi

Ive just got some plans via email in a .pdf file. They are originally in A0 size paper and im wondering how ican make them tiled so i can print them out on a standard printer. Ive tried to go into page setup and if i select A4 nothing happens.

I have Acrobat reader 5

Any help would be great

Default RE: Adobe Acrobat Reader Plans

I don't think you can do anything with a completed .pdf page using reader. You need the full blown program/software to alter it.

I have obtained .pdf files in the past and used reader 3. I was able to redirect the document over to my plotter within the Windows printer set-up, resize it within the command box for the plotter, and then get a mediocre finished job. I still have some doubts as to if the resizing is exactly proportional X for Y, or the document was faulty in the beginning.

I do not see any options that will permit tiled printing in any of the set up routines for printers or the reader. There is a secondary plug-in for CAD users that will permit in and out of a .pdf file as an underlay to a drawing. However, again, you need the full blown CAD software, and Adobe, and the plug-in for it to work. Many of the Internet plans sites now have available A/C done in a big .TIF or .BMP format which work with plotters set up for postscript.
