Default New carb question

I bought a Walbro WT-990-1 carb to replace the factory carb on my Enforcer SS with an older Homie. It mounted right up and has a primer which I like. It also runs great on the stand, however it has what looks like a return line coming off the other end of the primer, which the old carb did not have. If I cap it then the bulb will not prime. Would I just plumb a return line back to the tank or is there something more I need to do? What is the best way to go about this? Thanks!

Just leave it as-is. Little if any fuel comes out of it. You can run a return line to your tank but don't have to.
